In The Image

I have spent this entire last week in Colorado. What a remarkably beautiful state with its rivers, mountains and wildlife. One cannot drive through Colorado and not notice the Rockies and their expanse. Driving up I-25 after a snowfall and watching the sun light up the mountain tops and the brightness gleam off the snow is more testament to God's incredible creation and this is just the beginning of what you see here. However, as I was taking this all in the one thing I could not escape was the fact that no matter how beautiful this all is, no matter how breathtaking it is to view, it is I who am made in the image of God!

We, the human race are the only ones to be made in the image of God! How amazing is that?!? No matter how beautiful, how stunning a scene we see in creation, God looks at us as what is most precious and beautiful as we are an image of the creator Himself. This is indeed breathtaking!
